Ama Dablam 2027
Not a summit story. A team story.
6,812m · Nepal · Himalaya — documented from the first call to departure day.
Where everything converges.
Every method Higher Ground teaches — whether it's preparing an athlete for a no-oxygen ascent or helping a leadership team perform under real pressure — is something Olivier applies to his own objectives first. Ama Dablam is that, live and documented.
The story that interests us isn't the one about the summit. It's the one about building a team. How people with jobs, families and full lives organise themselves to reach an objective that looks out of reach. The answer isn't exceptional talent — it's preparation, clear roles, and the right people around a shared commitment.
The summit becomes almost a consequence of everything built in the twelve months before it.
Prepare before you climb
The summit is built in the months before. Every member commits to arriving ready.
Be autonomous
Each person is responsible for their preparation and their decisions. A successful expedition is built from autonomous people who know how to work together.
Bring something to the group
We're not looking for more people. We're looking for the right complement — skills, experience, character.
Decide with humility
The mountain always has the last word. The summit is an objective. The return is a priority.
The story, month by month.
One article per month — from the first team selection in October 2026 to departure day in autumn 2027. The honest account of how a team gets ready for something like this. And between entries, follow the preparation live on Instagram.
Preparation starts now. The first journal entry will document how the team comes together — the selection, the first meeting, the first training plan.

Team selection
Summer–Autumn 2026We're not looking for two more people. We're looking for the last two pieces of the puzzle — complementary profiles who bring something specific to the group.
